EXTENSION AND REFURBISHMENT CASE STUDY
Mr and Mrs Pickering bought two 18th-century adjacent cottages after they fell in love with both properties’ period character and idyllic views. They wanted to create a single home that preserved the charm of the old cottages, but also provided the modern facilities they needed.

BG Construction’s works included interior and exterior renovations, the additions of various extensions, structural changes and landscaping. The electrics and plumbing services were relocated. New plastering was applied to modern standards, in a traditional style. A new kitchen, bathrooms and log burners were installed. Then the property was decorated throughout with restoration of some period wooden beams.
