BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED RENOVATION TO CREATE A FAMILY HOME CASE STUDY
Mr and Mrs Taylor engaged BG Construction to build an extension and remodel their newly purchased home. They wanted to maintain the architectural style of the property and create a new layout to meet family needs. The original house had a small north facing kitchen, two entrances and long corridors that lacked a natural flow. BG Construction assisted with:
- Remodelling and renovation of the existing ground and first floor layouts with a two storey side and single storey rear extension. This was built to achieve an additional master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk in dressing room upstairs. The additional space downstairs was used to relocate the kitchen to the southern part of the house including both an open plan day room and dining area.
- Renovation of the existing five bedrooms and creating three bathrooms. Two of the bathrooms included hand picked luxury free standing roll top baths and walk in showers.
- Replacement of all windows and doors.
- Installation and crafting of a larger bespoke staircase.
- Complete electrical rewiring, light fittings and decorations.
- New plumbing, including under floor heating and gas central heating system.
- Laying parquet flooring and unique sized luxury tiles to the bathrooms.
- Paving and landscaping of the garden.
